Just seen that Lidl will having some diving bags/nets in on 10th May for £1.99.....these look ideal for storing all your onions in!! :)

Thanks Aggie, have just picked two up this morning. Perfect.

I'm also saving unused little string bags that you put wash tabs in to store my shallots in, coz Hubby's put a hanging rail and butchers hooks in the shed for me to hang them off.  They hold just enough for a portion.  :)
