Pumpkin Advice
« on: May 16, 2012, 12:00 »
Hi All
I have 4 pumpkins happily growing in 4 inch pots in my conservatory and they have been there for about 5 weeks.
Now all of a sudden the leaves are turning yellow and dropping off.
Does any one know why and if so what do i need to do to stop it continuing

Thanks Pete

I suspect you may be overwatering.      Ease off a gallon or two.   :)

But then again, are these the cotyledons?       Cheers,    Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

they probably need bigger pots by now - are there roots showing at the bottom?

As tony says the first set of seed leaves will drop off anyway
