I had no idea what a fab veg this is to grow.

hubby picked a carrier bag (well probably about three pounds last night) then went up the plot this morning and picked another half carrier bag for my parents this morning..

out of a double row of about fifteen feet, with plants that are doing extremely well, due I think in part to the amount of muck we put in the trench, how many pounds do you think we might get?

I'm only asking this as I might need to think about making more room in my freezer.

How can I express this in the written word...

thanks Munty...

I just read your reply to hubby and his reaction was..

"Uuuurrrggh",  then a delayed shock, with a reply of "maybe we shouldn't have planted 70 plants"

flippen 'eck,... 700lbs of runner beans...

I did wonder why, other people on the plot seemed to have less beans than us... by quite a large margin..
