Hinge & Bracket
« on: December 19, 2012, 17:55 »
Hi there

After poor Henrietta qwas put to sleep last week, we got a couple of new girls, about 12/13 weeks old,to keep Florence (our brown Ranger) company.

Here we have Hinge, a Welsummer and Bracket a Plymouth Rock:

Thoroughly approve of the names!  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Glad you like the names Yorkie!

AHNBUC, they seem to be settling in quite well. I think the Welsummer, Hinge, has half an eye on the top job i.e. top of the pecking order but at the moment Florence is still in charge.

Bracket practically lives up to her namesake - cheeky, chatty little bird. She is the smallest at the moment so she is at the bottom of the pecking order.

Were you a fan hubballi? I hadn't heard them for years and I knew that the one that played Dame Hilda Bracket had died. A couple of days ago I thought I would see what I could find on them on Youtube, there are a lot of clips on thre & I must admit I still found them quite funny!

It wasn't my kind of thing at the time. Not keen on men dressing as women as a general comedy rule. To be fair, I would still give it a go now I am older. I have some memorabilia selling on EBay, some promo card for their shows I picked up but I don't get any interest. One person bought it but never paid in the end.
