I have a Victoria plum tree that blossomed about 2 weeks ago - then they blossom died away quite suddenly (went brown and shrivelled) - now there is green leaves.
Is this supposed to happen? Did it suffer with the frost... a little concern for the fella

Couple of pics...

Sorry Wilf, yes plum blossom is susceptible to frost damage. My next door neighbour has a greengage tree and has been nervous of losing his crop in this recent spell of cold night time weather.

Does look like the frost has had them. :( My blue tit has also been hit and it looking empty again this year.
-
Yeah... I feared that. Looking forward to plum pie too.

Mines gone like that as well I think it’s natural I think you still get the fruit keep your fingers crossed

MIne too was hit by frost last year at same time, but still fruited.

Keeping everything crossed... we might get a plum crumble :D
