Title: Plum tree
Post by: Wilf on April 24, 2021, 19:04
I have a Victoria plum tree that blossomed about 2 weeks ago - then they blossom died away quite suddenly (went brown and shrivelled) - now there is green leaves.

Is this supposed to happen? Did it suffer with the frost... a little concern for the fella

Sorry Wilf, yes plum blossom is susceptible to frost damage. My next door neighbour has a greengage tree and has been nervous of losing his crop in this recent spell of cold night time weather.
