Growing Sweetcorn under glass

I grow around 50 plants each year in my polytunnel. N Cumbria is too cool and windy to successfully grow them outside. I usually germinate them in a propagator and then plant them into their final bed around mid May. A downside is that they grow to about 10ft tall and shade everything else in tunnel. Also, if you suffer from hay-fever, tunnel tends to be a no-go area in July
