Well I've had the girls coming up five weeks now which makes them 19 weeks old! Today we had our first egg from one of the Legbars, we suspect Doreen as she has been crouching. They are all getting on really well and seem great friends. Here are some pics-

Doreen, she seemed a bit anxious/ jumpy so we think it is her that is laying. She is also crouching.

What pretty girls and a lovely first egg!
I also think it's Doreen's egg, going by the size of her comb and wattles, but Delia is not far behind. Soon you will have so many eggs you won't know what to do with them!

I do think they are all rather lovely :tongue2: Doreen was sooo clever, she managed to lay a perfect egg in the nest box first time! I hadn't even put a dummy egg in or anything bless her. She had made rather a mess of the whole house and had pushed all the hemp bedding around. Must have been all a bit odd for her, all those insticnts and hormones running through her lol. :D
Yes, hopefully we will have a set of four in a few more weeks... I have friends waiting lol. :nowink:
