R.I.P Pescador
« on: November 06, 2019, 19:34 »
A great shock to read Paul a.k.a Pescador has died suddenly I’ve just read on Facebook, put on his pickles page by his wife, my condolences to his family & friends
This is what was on fb

It is with great sadness that I share with you the news that Paul passed away on Saturday.
Although he was fighting throat cancer the prognosis was fairly good and he was feeling positive so it was completely unexpected that the cause was a cardiac arrest.
Paul never stopped or slowed down in the last 4 months and Paul's Preserves and Pickles was a source of great pride and happiness for him. He loved growing and making and meeting people at the various markets, the cottage industry he created was thriving!
Our son David, daughter Rebecca and I have been truly blown away by the hundreds of heartfelt words that people have sent through this page or by word of mouth. Thank you so much.

We will be holding the funeral celebrating his life on Thursday 21 November at 13.15 at Coychurch Crematorium, Simonston Road, Coychurch, Bridgend CF35 6AB and then you are all invited back to The Barn, Mwyndy, Llantrisant, CF72 8PJ to raise a glass or 2 to him.

Terribly sad news. Since Pescador joined these forums in 2017 he's been one of our most knowledgeable members, helping others along. His wit and sense of humour often brightened up the day.
He'll be greatly missed here. Our thoughts are with his family.

We were all chatting only a week or so ago.

So sad to read this. Love to his family.

That is sad news indeed, what a terrible shock for his family.  I enjoyed banter with him, and he will be missed by us all.   R.I.P.       Mrs Bouquet

I echo John's thoughts; he will be missed here as well as by his family and friends.
