Up until today I was the happy owner of 2 beautiful polish bantams. Unfortunately I lost one today - not sure what was a matter, and neither were the vets, but she is now gone, so I have a lonely lost soul mate. What do you suggest (I obviously will do nothing for at least a week incase the other one becomes ill) But should I get a younger companion (mine is about 10months old. She is very friendly, but I don't want to upset her. Any suggestions please?

Sorry to hear you sad news.  I have no experience with Polish Bantams so would not like to give any advice on the breed.  I hope that someone will advise you soon.

It doesn't matter what the breed is they're all flock birds so she will feel lonely. Give it a week then get a couple of friends to keep her company.
