hi there,

what type of ducks would people recommend for laying and which are easy to keep?

i'm looking at 3 or 4....

i've had hens for a number of years and am wanting to start with ducks - i've already made the pen!

also are there any suppliers in the north east??

Hi and welcome to the forum.

There are a couple of us about who keep ducks so usually someone about who can answer any (well most) questions for you.

Personall I wouldn't get Campbells again as although they are fairly common to get hold of and relaible egg layers they are really flighty and the least charecterful of the ducks I have (and not even the best layers!). What do you want them for and that will help guide you as well.
