Can anyone help I've got a Honda   Strimmer  it uses 2.7 mm nylon line but I can only get 2.4 mm line Will that be okay to use hope someone can help me thanks

You can get 2.7mm on ebay. Sorry don't know if the 2.4 will cut as well

2.4mm line may wear out marginally faster than 2.7mm

I've always bought commercial fishing mono (Google for suppliers) on all our petrol brushcutters. It's cheaper than buying a proprietary product and seems to last just as well.

As usual, the 'pros' will suggest a 'proper' line, but a slightly thinner line should work just as well, and you may find it's even better!

A few more swipes with the machine won't make that much difference anyway. You may be there a few minutes longer at the end of the day.

hi I use Oregon Nylium star line it starts at 2mm to 4mm 2.4 wont harm your machine I got mylast lot of strimmer line from a supplier on amazon  I don't actually by through amazon I click the supplier  I find I can get the line 50% cheaper than amazon price eg last reel amazon price £44.95 supplier £23.20 delivered free amazon wanted delivery charge  jezza
