john innes no/2 compost

as we have  always bought  multipurpose compost I thought about  trying some john Iness no/2 as it was on offer
but having bought it I was unsure what would be the best thing to use this compost on potting on seed sowing etcetera

so I though I would seek some help and guidance from others before using it so has anyone been using john innes no/2 and for what and advise much appreciated as I bought 10 bags 

hi I used to make john innes compost at school we used different amounts of fertilizer for seed no/1 no/2 no3   seed had1-6oz to a bushel of compost depending on the soil used   no/1 9oz no 2 12oz no3 18oz  if the compost is john innes institute recommended mix it will be good stuff   jezza
