It's cloudy, with a few sunny patches and clouds are darkening - so hopefully we will get one of the forecast showers *fingers crossed*

It's been raining, although there wasn't much and it seems to have stopped now (hence the small 'yippee'.)

Will edit to add a bigger yippee if we get some more!

Despite a yellow warning for storms yesterday we got none (wrong again! too many warnings nowadays?)

Today it is quite cloudy and rain is forecast for later at 95% probability overnight - fingers crossed again!

Rain glorious RAIN we had a bit this morning but now it is literally pouring.
Hopefully this will restore my drained water butt.
Getting bored with watering every single night in the very hot weather.
Looks like it will keep going all evening😀😀😀

The BBC insist it is heavy cloud but it's actually drizzle - 5.5mm in last 24 hours. Cool as well - 13º C. A gentle breeze.

Despite forecasts for a sunny day, it's depressingly cloudy, but calm. The dial shows 20C but feels cooler - weird weather, as if it's waiting for something to happen  A storm on the way perhaps?
