I just buy cheapy ones from the pound shop or Wilkos.  I try to remember to wash them out after each use, and they last a couple of years.

The one that didn't last was the one I thought I'd see if it would take the wood preservative that we mustnt mention!  It melted the insides and sprayed everywhere!  LOL

I try to look after them - I even brought this one inside rather than leave it in the shed over winter.  It wasn't cheap if I remember rightly about £8. It was only weedkiller in there too - even I wouldn't try spraying the wood preservative we don't mention

Things like this are getting really difficult to buy, even price isn't a good guide anymore.

I didn't think it would take the preservative Lardy, but as it was only £1, was worth a try!  LOL

I've had a 3L one from B&Q (not own brand) for probably 8+ seasons now and it's still going strong.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

The 3L are the floor ones with the wand aren't they Yorkie ? I tend to need a little of a lot of things rather than a lot of a little amount of things, if you see what I mean.

The handheld ones like these are just about the right size.

I have a 3l Hoze-lock sprayer that I bought in 2009 (perhaps earlier), and it still works very well today.

I also have a Hozelock spray.

It's the Polyspray 2, and was probably bought well over ten years ago.

It still works very well, and it can be set to spray or to jet, which can be very useful when targetting specific plants [e.g. weeds].

Well worth the money [whatever it cost!].

Managed to fix it  :D

I thought it was a sealed unit but as it was destined for the bin I was a little more aggressive about getting it. Access to the plunger tube was from on the top under the trigger rather than from the inside. The rubber O ring wasn;t in a good state at all, so I've gave everything a good smear of petroleum jelly and reassembled, after a few false starts it now holds pressure.

Typically Id ordered some cheap trigger action ones yesterday  ::)
