« on: October 09, 2007, 13:34 »
it seams im loosing the plot,

i thought i had planted my onion sets but looks like i only ever did my shallots and garlic as ive just found my onions

so after re-planning where in gonna plant things i think i have found some room for them

when i prepare the bed is it just a matter of digigng over racking and setting?  i have manured the ground a couple of weeks back and been told this may rot my onions?

thanks

nathan

By who? Only way I could see that happening was if your ground waterlogged.  Then they'd probably rot with or without manure.  If this is the case - plant them on ridges
