Inca toms in greenhouse - black tips
« on: June 12, 2010, 14:23 »
I have grown Inca toms for the first time this year in the greenhouse - just 2 plants to see what they are like - amid my others.

Now the fruit started to set the other week - misshaped plum shaped toms I think, quite attractive in their own way - and I went down today to see progress in case any were ripening but a couple of them have black ends - only the tips of them (about 1 cm of the 6ish cm total length- a little mushy too in the black bit.

I am sure it is not blight as the leaves, stems and all the other tom plants look perfect. Has anyone else had this with Incas. I must say this black end is the first I have seen on any tomato before!

Hello!

I'm far from an expert, but could it be blossom end rot?
