Sounds blissful, a couple of glasses of wine & browsing seeds.

I didnt realise before reading this thread that I could get seed catalogues, I've now ordered 2 & cant wait to sit down with them when they arrive, kids in bed, Vino in hand, bank card at the ready........
New to gardening & growing my own, its a very steep learning curve!

Kari, you can often pick them up free from garden centers.

Seeds are deff preferable than Jimmy Choo's, but I'm a joddy/jeans/ joddy boot girl and the only new shoes I buy are for work....and they're boring.

My addiction in flower seeds, although I have been known to give waifs and strays homes from places like B&Q etc specially if free or knocked down.

JayG:

... Hubby say "Seeds are a lot cheaper than Marks & Spencer"  :)

Men can be such innocents at times. Give him a bit of time and you'll never hear that  again.

 This made me laugh Irene.  I have to admit I too am guilty of these.  I now have this rather interesting slug catcher that looks like a litter picker that I never would have purchased when sober, but actually it is quite handy so sometimes it works in your favour!

I want to say "Thank you" to the two members who provided me with information about two school groups who are introducing their students to gardening and would like to be receipients of my seeds.

I will make sure both groups are well stocked even if I have to pour myself a glass of wine and use T&M's sale to fill any spaces where I'm lacking in stock....though it won't be cabbage :)

:D - I do this so often - fortunately I don't often add wine to the mix - but late at night when I really should have been asleep hours earlier, I will get out the organic seed catalogue and try to plan the garden.  Fortunately it isn't online and I have the chance to think it through before sending the order off the next day LOL  and it usually goes in about half (or sometimes even a third) of it's original size.

Mind you - I do the same with the tack shops, smallholding supplies and amazon - I think there's just no hope LOL

Enjoy your cabbages :)
