Title: Push along mower recommendations
Post by: GraciesGran on May 31, 2020, 14:41
Good afternoon

I am responsible for keeping the paths round my plot cut.

I've cut them today using shears, the grass was quite long.  A mower would make life easier, and give a much neater finish, any ideas as to which one?

We bought a Qualcast hand-mower years ago, and I still use it, GGran!

Like this one...

Very light, and just fine, even if the ground is a bit bumpy. It doesn't roll the grass, but 'rides' over the bumps, but our allotment looked OK, and I also use it at home when I feel like a bit of exercise (?)!

Jerry, who I  met for the first time this morning has offered me the loan of his mower + he says I can have a corner of his shed to store tools.
