Chickens and sun block
« on: July 12, 2013, 16:53 »
Hi all

I posted on here a couple fo days ago that I have a hen with cockerel damage and what looked like an ingrowing feather on her back (it was). Checking her over today I'm wondering about sunburn on her bare areas where the cockerel stripped the feathers. Can chickens have sun block?

Oh yes,  I've put sun cream on chickens' bare bums to stop them getting sun burnt  ::)
