this is really interesting, but from my dim and distant days of my environmental science degree and studying soil, I thought that Mycorrhizal Fungi has very particular relationships with different species, so you'd need different species of fungi for different species of plant? Rather than a generic 'Mycorrhizal Fungi' ??

Individual varieties are out there, Jo, but not all shops carry them all. Plus, if the user has the complete variety, it's also a lot of money invested for varying terms. Those on budgets are unlikely to put out this kind of money.

I just used what I had and the various plants/bulbs/trees didn't seem to mind or notice. They may not have gotten the maximum out of the MF, but they certainly did just fine.
