have got three new (hopefully) girls today.  3 months old.  very cute.  in their temporary day pen til they get used to the other pekin bantam girls in the proper pen.

me to!  its what attracted me to them, that and their super friendly nature.  they aren't as skittish as the pekins.  though a few days of small bubs teasing them they might be!!

the new chicks are now mixed in with the older ones.  was a few hours of one of the pekins chasing the white (mostly) silkie but they all went to bed together quite happily and have been fine ever since.  were a bit  cliquey initially but now they are all happy to mix easily with each other.  no more chicks now, enclosure is just about teh right size for the 6 of them.  just waiting on  the first tiny batam egg to appear, soon i hope!
