Well you all did warn me they have a death wish.  Snudge my Bronze turkey poult always manages to get out of the fenced area for her and Bootsy.  Bootsy has never been very agile and is a stag so is a little heavier.  Despite clipping one wing regularly Snudge keeps finding a  way over the fence.  Came back from shopping and she was on the wrong side again.  They are really skittish so I carefully tried to guide her to an opening but no luck.  She preferred to have a go at Dancing on the Ice on our pond.  Good job it is really frozen otherwise I would have had a ready frozen turkey!

The turkey poults strike again    They sound like hard work at times.  I thought chickens were daft, but they have them beat every time

I was so concerned that she would fall through the ice otherwise I would have grabbed my camera.  I had to coax her off with a very long bamboo cane.  I have them dotted all over the garden for the numerous times I need them.   :blink:  I did realise after that the ice was really thick and I had missed a trick not getting the camera.
