I have my doubts now that they are autum Rasburys
Because when I put the Kane's in this year
If they are autum raspberries why did they fruit
Last month?  Off the old canes?

No-one would pay money for a dead brown stump  ::), so even autumn rasps are sold with a short length of cane on, which can live on and produce a few rasps the following summer.

It's not the main fruiting event though, for which you are still waiting, patiently I hope (mine are Autumn Bliss and with all the warm weather will probably be a bit earlier than usual, but yours are newly planted and the new canes are no doubt working very hard to catch up!)

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

were they labelled Autumn Bliss when you bought them?
If so....................don't expect fruit until the Autumn, the Summer rasps are still fruiting - as they should be  ;)
Plus being newly planted they'll be a bit late anyway.

Yes they was labeled autum bliss
But seeing the fruit come of the old canes
Last month I thought they might be
Mixed up with a summer fruiting rasberys
I bought them at home base so I think the
Labels have been switched in home base

Do you have a particular reason for thinking that given the answers you have been given?

Just wait and see - when you get flowers and fruit on the new canes, you'll know they are indeed Autumn Bliss.

I have the same issue I bought the plants late spring. There is plenty of new green foliage but no sign of any flowers. I have taken the view that they are playing catch up and any fruit this year will be a bonus. I would expect them to do much better next year when they are more established.

Like all fruit, they tend to behave haphazzardly without the proper yearly pruning and time in the ground after transplanting. I would be surprised if they're not what they say they are. Some un pruned raspberries will flower pathetically on old canes on occasion. Mine used to. They don't any more now they're dealt with properly every year. Chillax. :) None of my  Autumn canes are showing any sign yet whatsoever of forming flowers. They will do in 4 or 5 weeks.

They look like they are doing very well.  Remember raspberries are a long term plant so don't expect a full harvest straight away.  They need time to establish.  You will get some this year then, with proper care, next year you will see a huge difference.  Then the year after they should be in full swing.

Been to the allotment today and have just noticed that flowers are beginning to form. Like I said previously they are in their first year. So I wouldn't give up on them just yet.
