Am I right in thinking that a sprinkling of Diatoms on chicken pellets its a good wormer? Or should I be treating with something else? I think I saw A worm in some chicken poo last week, I've been watching closley but found no more.

There have been suggestions on this site that it may be used in an effort to prevent worms but the overriding advice you will receive on this site is that your chooks should be treated with Flubenvet.

It is very dangerous to ignore worms as they will kill if left untreated. :(
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!

By the way I wasn't meaning to suggest that you were going to ignore the need to worm, its just that so many people underestimate the dangers of not worming. Your regime does depend on your system of keeping and how much space you have. :)
