morning all..im just getting a bed ready for sweetcorn..last year i grew parsnips in it   so no manure..can i manure it now an dig it in ready for the sweetcorn   ty

Yup - I put a layer of horse bedding / manure and dig it in. Then just before planting I layer with bunny poo and dig that in as it has nitrogen which the sweet corn love.
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..

I find there's no problem manuring root beds as long as the manure is well-rotted and not dug in. I just scrape it away from where I want to sow my root seeds.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
