LOL bit far for me

177 miles & 3 hours 20 min journey (google maps). Thats a 344 mile round trip & at least 7-8 hours out of your day.

But THEY ARE ONLY A POUND. Well worth it

I got a couple of these a few weeks ago. Using one in the greenhouse at the moment.  Thought for £1 they are worth buying for the 4 wire supports which could be used later on with fleece or thicker plastic.

Sounds good. I have my own personal shopper (my Mum!) who looks out for bargains in the Poundshop/Wilkies etc. Will have to get her down there to pick up a couple.

This type of thing costs a fortune in France, and that's if you can actually find them  ::)

I got a couple in the back garden that seem to be doing a trick right now.  Not sure how long they will last but will help this spring.
Thanks
Kris

After I'd bought three of these and put them on the plot one of the old chaps came over and asked me where I'd got them from, "were they from Dobbies" no I say poundland, he was gobsmacked that they were only £1, I've never been in the place he says.  Think I've converted a new customer for the shop!! And they've held up very well , I thought as they were quite thin they might rip easily but so far okay.  Thanks very much for this tip.

There are 99p shops all over including one in Bridgewater (for the Somerset poster).  The one near me has masses of gardening stuff.  I get all my canes, pots and weed proof sheeting from there and save a fortune, and they have a modest selection of plants and seeds as well.
