Hello everybody, I haven't started keeping chickens yet, I'm reading up on them and we are hoping to start building their accommodation this weekend - I know nothing so will be glad of any advice from you all.

The breed that's coming top of my list of suitable breeds is the Dutch Bantam (hence my username - Dutch for 'little chicken').  Since starting to search I've seen so many lovely breeds that I would like to keep but I have to be sensible and we have room for 3 - 4 little ones.  We live in North Wales, 800 feet up but quite sheltered, and have to consider the neighbours too,so no cockerels.
