Any good?

http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0199744

It's for my polytunnel on the plot to run off waterbutts

Need some setup to save time watering as it's taking me ages and i'm on holiday soon so want to make things easier for the older chap who will be looking after things in polytunnel.
Try my best to be Organic but don't always make it

I bought one last year for my hanging baskets/window boxes, yes they work well, but need a little fiddling with to start with. My only real grumble is that the drip feed tends to run straight through the window boxes, which probably wont be a problem in a poly tunnel, I'd like to replace them with spray heads instead eventually.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

do you think it would work in my PT which is on a slight slope, thought i'd put the waterbutts at the top and raise them again on some tyres.

Don't see why not the dribble would be quite slow depending on how much head you have, but this may be to your advantage. I bought some hose clamps for aquarium air line to vary the rate of flow.

I bought a trickle soaker hose to run off the lotty butt but it doesn;'t work. Apparently it needs more pressure  :?   So make sure your butt is high enough, saves trouble later on

Just spoken to my sister who said that her felloe polt holder used this company and found the set worked really well. Thought i might get 10m set and then expand on it itf it works well for me.

When i spoke to them they were really helpful asked me what i wanted to do, what water supply i had and did i want to controil different area's, e.g turn one bed off when empty or reduce the amount of water for different plants.

A filter might be a good idea to stop bits in the butt water blocking the whole thing
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
