h folks, this is  bit of a strange one, m chooks are in a run about 5 by 3 m and i have re4centle gotr a spanking new coup forthem, problem is they wont entertain int.  the go in their to la and thats it ither than that they sleep on the roof, and i clean all he poo off each morning, which is difficult as the roof is made of grit felt!  is it just the heat? will they make their own wa in, or should i just put them once dusk falls.  the coop is brand new less han 3 weeks old, im sure its nit a mite problem, as they have never slept in it since the day it was bought, and just gto be sure i have has a thorough check of all the likely places an infestation would show itself.
any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

you will need to pop them in for a few days - they will soon get the idea  .
Please can I just advise you to remove the grit felt and ideally replace it with onduline or similar as redmites may take up residence underneath the felt in the future
