Hi,I've tried growing Tagetes this year and all went well until I planted them out on the allotment.The leaves have now gone a rusty red colour.Does anyone know why? thanks

It's easy to blame the weather for everything that goes wrong this year, but I do believe that's the problem ::)

Even the ones in the greenhouses aren't doing their usual 'flower their heads off' thing :(
So if not a lack of warmth it maybe a lack of bright sunlight?

mine in the GH are OK and so are the ones in the Polytunnel but the ones left in the tray I just used here and there do have poor appearance and less than green leaves

Give them a foliar feed and see what happens.

mine are getting fed with the tomatoes, and are still not good  :(
