Ive planted spring onions from a set and all OK but i have done some from seed and absolutely nothing , Ive put them straight to the ground and also sown them in a trough and Nada . did some year before last and they were up like a shot , living in hope

Same here. Sown spring onions 2 weeks ago, nothing showing.
Lettuces and radishes looking just fine.

Maybe later.  :?

They can be a fussy customer, I'm not bothering with them. I'm trying Japanese bunching onions this year, otherwise I just use Welsh onions - which is quite a similar thing - or young onions for salads.
