I have kept notes about what to feed each crop but don't seem to have record for these. I have chicken manure pellets and grow organic. I feed my corgettee pumpkin squash with tomato feed. I cannot remember is tomato feed ok for sweetcorn thanks

I use chicken manure for everything at this time of year - it seems to work ok ;)

It's brilliant stuff, but unfortunately we have a fox on the site. He thinks he is digging for dinner but takes out your plants in the process.
-
Yes, we had that on site a few years ago, but the fox must have gone, cos it doesn't happen now. Thank goodness :)

Can't say I feed beetroot or turnip now, they've been sown in a well fed bed so now they can just get on with it.
-
Never feed beetroot or turnip here and sweetcorn seems to love comfrey tea. I am probably doing it all wrong but it seems to work.
-
I too don't feed beetroot or turnip.
Sweet corn gets chicken pellets twice, once at planting and once halfway through the growing period, along with nettle tea for more nitrogen as and when I get around to it and I have enough spare. And then loooooads of water.

I am surprised that sweetcorn likes comfrey as I see it - at the moment - as a leafy plant so I am feeding nettle tea for Nitrogen. When it starts to set its cobs then I would add Comfrey as I then see it as a flowering plant.
