grow lights

LILLILEAF:
 Now my seedlings have come through i have put the grow lights on,but how long is it 12 on 12 off, and whats the best colour combination?, i have the warm white and red on,is that correct i m stumped.

Aunt Sally:
I give them about 14 - 16 hours a day of light.
