Something is eating my onions

Hi there,
A novice here and my first crops are under attack. It looks like birds had all the broan beans that sprouted and something is eating my onions. The onions haven't been pulled out of the ground but the leaves are disappearing and it's happening on the garlic too. any ideas what it could be or what I could do to stop it!

slugs or rabbits ? slugs poison them crops cover with chicken wire tunnels . hope that helps

garlics a funny one though had it popped up i know i planted some a while ago and its just popped up now.

when was the last time you went to the dry cleaners

dont have to go mate , i send my scout uniform in once a month .a note asking to double wrap it gets 2 bags

you dry clean your scout shorts

i know travis perkins sells a 50m roll of protective polythene for about £20 its quite thin though but a 50m roll is a lot its about 4m wide.
