This dry period has stopped our early rasps doing anything. They're dead on the vine!

I've been watering them today, and hope that they'll recover, but it's a disappointment to bear...

Hopefully the Joan J will start to get going and we'll get some later on!

That is a shame Growster. Just make sure to irrigate JoanJ well so she can give you lots of scrummy berries in a while

We just love 'Joan J' rasps, they are well worth waiting for, and are part of our 'seasonality' programme for a freezer crop after all the others.

The others, probably a 'Glen' variety, went in because they were just begging for a home, and being a silly old Growster, I couldn't let them go..:-(

I'd certainly take some of the Summer ones with you, as you like them so much - still think it would be worth getting some Joan J for Autumn though  :D

Hello just thought a few  conversions for those who don't use euro measures 0.486kg =1lb 112g =4oz 250g =8oz 500=16oz  hopefully we can start using imperial again   jezza
