Baby Sweetcorn

As this is my first year I have only used half my allotment for planting. In a 8ft x 8ft raised bed I put a row of normal sweetcorn next to a row of baby sweetcorn. Both rows are around 4-5 ft high. I have cobs and tassels on the bigger sweetcorn  :D but not a thing on the baby sweetcorn  . It did say on the instructions to plant in rows not blocks. Does anyone have any idea's on this and the effect of planting different types of sweetcorn next to each other.

I have done the same, so will be interested in the answer! There are tassles on all of mine now but cant remember which is which.
There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

I've planted baby sweet corn too - beautiful, healthy plants but no sign or tassles yet either.  I know a couple of other people on different sites who are also experiencing the same thing.  Maybe we just need to be patient!!!
