Where to put my greenhouse

I've just bought one of those Gardman plastic walk in greenhouses and wondered what is the ideal placement for a greenhouse?

My garden is south facing but there also quite a lot of trees.

Any advice appreciated.

Don't put it in the shade of them. Also way down well and chose a not too windy corner if you can.

I wasn't too sure about direct sunlight as it's plastic and i don't think it has a vent.

We bought a similar one from B&Q. I find it really good. We have it on the patio and have had to bolt it to the floor as the wind kept threatening to take it. Ours is in the sun most of the day and it's surprising how warm it gets inside. If I am at home I open the door, it's still nearly 70 degrees in there today with the door fully open. If I am going out I just zip the door halfway down so some air can get in.

I have a couple of the 4 tier plastic greenhouses with tomatoes in and they get really hot on sunny days so i leave them open during the day.

I wanted something with more space and haven't got round to clearing the space for a 'proper' greenhouse (damn chickens taking up all my time

) so i thought this would be a temporary solution.

Mine lasted for about two and a half seasons and would have hung on longer but I got a second hand aluminium one instead.

Ditto what others have said about putting it in the sun and protecting it from the wind. I found that ventilation was a problem and it got very humid in there if I forgot to open it.
