I haven't actually tried it but on here people have suggested piping flexible silicone sealant along the beads, letting it dry and then bedding the glass onto that...

couple of quid for few tubes of sealant against some people charging 50p/m?

I put up an old greenhouse a couple of years ago, where there was no seal I just left them out and put the glass against the aluminium. None have leaks or any glass broken to date

I used the silicon method with an old greenhouse that I was offered and took, works really well, if like me your on a windy plot then pop your glass on while still wet to bond the glass. Its easy to take out the panes with a sharp knife if required.

I used self adhesive draught strip (i.e. for draught proofing windows) - the sort that is about 1/4" of sponge, and about 1'4"-1/2" wide. I specifically sought out the brown type, rather than white, as someone told me that colour would have been UV resistance. (I got it off eBay as I needed quite a few rolls)

Beads of silicon may make the glass hard to remove intact in the future? (but that is probably not something that you have a concern about!)

My second-hand aluminium greenhouses were the type that originally had rubber tubing seals (and thus the channels in the aluminium that the seals are threaded into), but there was enough flat aluminium alongside for the draught-strip to stick onto (and once the sprung clips are on the glass nothing is going anywhere!)
