Thank you Coldandwindy. I was mainly concerned with the glass reducing the efficiency and hadn't considered the humidity and heat.
I put it on the outside and have it set up. It waters for aprox. four minutes every three hours which is more than adequate and I no longer worry about my toms. I would recommend a solar watering system for people who can't get to their greenhouse regularly during this lovely sunny spell.
