Hot and sunny yesterday, albeit still with the strong breeze, sunny again this morning and the breeze has finally dropped.
First outside job today is to water the greenhouses

Very hot & Sunny, so much so that I had  to stay home & miss granddaughters first school sports day to keep her baby brother out of the sun & heat

Pleasant first thing, warm and bright but turned very muggy around lunchtime and now it's grey, dark and still.

Hot and sunny, MetO says it's 25C, but certainly doesn't feel that hot, but my thermometer has decided not to work any more  Typical!!
Watering g/house this morning and plot this afternoon, though.

It's  2 hours before sunr>se, and it's  80 F (27 C)., We are expecting 100 F (37 C) later today.  There is some chance for much-needed rain, we'll take it!

Looks as if the temperature might have peaked at 29.1C here, and there's a quite gusty wind getting up (strange combination. )

Very hot reached 29.5 this afternoon. Fortunately daughter asked me to jump in a paddling pool with my 5 year old grandson so we could both cool off. Smothered in factor 50 and wearing a cricket umpire style hat!! Sorry no picture available

Unpleasant sticky night, but it's fresher now (outside at least). Cloudy 14c with a stiff breeze.  We could do with a bit of rain to damp things down.

22C already this morning, but, according to the forecast, everything changes when the wind veers back to Northerly sometime after lunch 
The temperature to fall quickly once that happens (Tomorrow's max forecast is only 15-16C by the afternoon.)
