Still 28c inside with everything open. 

Grey this morning and 19c although it still feels very muggy, there looks to be a bit of a breeze but the heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast have now become showers of just a few mm. We need a good downpour to take the heat out of everything.

Yellow warning for thunderstorms, but next to nothing heading this way on the rain radar at the moment.
Despite many such warnings this year, we very rarely get thunderstorms here.

16 degrees and it's raining in not so sunny Glasgow.  Thankfully it's not battering down but it's pretty constant and will do a great job of soaking the ground.   The weed seeds will have been lying in wait for today though.  Garden will be a jungle by the end of the week!

I just tempted them by cutting the front lawn - sure enough if started to spot but stopped as soon as I turned the mower off.

Still a warm 28 deg C (reverse the numbers 82 in F)
Cut front lawn in anticipation of rain 
Promise of thunder storms 5 till 7 now disappeared!!
Perhaps get something overnight if we are lucky.

We had no rain until late evening and that wasn't even enough to wet the pavements.  Todays rain has also been moved to this evening and dramatically reduced.

It's cooler at 14c, grey. muggy and very still again, we really did need a thunderstorm to clear the air. Despite all the upstairs windows being open all night it's still 27c. I'm done with summer can we move on to winter now please.

I'd much prefer just a normal summer, you know, enough rain to moan about and reasonably warm now and again 
According to the rain radar charts, it looks like one such day is on the cards...
It's grey and 17C this morning, and a very gentle breeze is moving the darker clouds towards us..

Grey and 18 degrees. Claims it’s raining but only very light drizzle so far.

Yes, we just had a sprinkle that lasted all of 10 minutes - not nearly enough to make any difference 
I'm still hoping for more....

Fantastic downpour this afternoon
Hopefully we are forecast more overnight and tomorrow.
Never thought I would wish for more rain the summer but this summer was worse than 1976.
