I know how you feel. We were on 12 days holiday in Gran Canaria, due back on the Saturday and spent the whole time dying to get home so I could get my 3 chicks at 3pm on Sunday. And they were worth waiting for. Love them to bits already!!! You will be able to remember the date easily 10/10/10. Enjoy :)

Hi
I had my ex bats in July- when they arrived my other half said they were almost oven ready but now they have most of there feathers and each lay an egg most days :)
The only thing was nobody told me they were addictive and now I have 7 buff orpington chicks that are 5 weeks old and a Russian orlof that is 6 weeks old is there a cure for the addiction or do you just have to go with it. :nowink:

I started with 2 and now my count often goes over 50

Nope I started with 5 girls and ended up with 12. Now I'll end up with 15 / 16 when my ex batts / POLS come along (6th Nov).

I must be either be a very strong minded person, or a completely heartless whatsit!
We started with 8 ex batts . . . . and that's it!
To be honest, don't really have room for more, and we're thinking of putting the house on the market, so that's my excuse. Actually that's the topic of a new post . . . .

Am just waiting for my lottery ticket to come up so we can move somewhere that I can have more chooks. Plans already made obviously
