I planted up 4 pumpkin plants- in 2´s.  One lot of 2 had just 2 pumpkin the other lot of 2 have had 5 (1 got big and rotted, the watering system was leaking under it) I´ve cut all the remaining pumpkins off (weight from 16kg to 22 kg) and there are now 2 more getting big!  I have not a clue as to what I will do with so many - I gave 1 to our neighbour and sold another for 7.50€ (shop price would have been 22€) so she got a bargain. 
On top of those pumpkin I have Turks Turbin pumpkin and Orange Dream  and another who´s name I can´t remember, it has tiny 3" pumpkin (none ready yet though) that you cook in the microwave!
I know what soup we will be having over winter!!

Mine aren't ready yet, but I have more plants than anticipated , so will be interested in what to do with them all.  We love pumpkin pie in this house - not good for the waistline though, I also had a recipe for pumpkin cake last year, which was similar to carrot cake.  Nothing uses it up like soup though!!
