A large limb has come down this morning.  I tried to move it from neighbours garden (whoops), but it was very heavy.  Fortunately, a horse owner came up to the field, and helped.  Now it is on the grass verge.  I have rung my tree man and left a message, he will have to take the rest of the limbs off to the top of the trunk.  Worried now in case it goes altogether.  If it does it will go into neighbours garden !!  But there is no more I can do until he rings me.

Don't panic, but I am going on my holiday next Friday.    Mrs Bouquet

Had it all removed on the day I went on holiday, they were here at 8am and I left at 9am.   The difference to the outlook is so much nicer.  They said they couldn't believe how it has stayed up it was very dead and big!
My friend who is trying to acquire a stumpery, had all the big trunk cut up and removed to her garden, so everyone is a winner    .    They also took the top and middle of my Golden Yew out and tied it in to a lovely point, cut the small conifer hedge, and cut back loads of the standard buddliea.     These two men are keepers.   Mrs Bouquet
