I can't see anything on that photo, sorry.

But lavender is tough as old boots and I doubt that any pest will affect it too much.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I can see squiggly lines on some of the leaves that look like leaf miner damage.  It is a bug and it is inside the leaf tunnelling through.  If you squish the end of the trail, the larvae will be there and you should kill it.

Yes, agree with New Shoot.

Not much to worry about, but you can squish the end of the trail if you want.

I cant see much from your photos, but might be something in the leaf, I'd break the leaf off and watch to see what happens

I've had my lavender for years now, it doesnt give off any smell any more, bees come around when its in flower, maybe a few flies
I've never trimmed or cut it back, survived wind, snow, frost, seems to be bullet proof
It's all about the journey, not the destination

Is there an insect spray I can use on my lavender to kill these bugs?

They are difficult to get to as they are inside the leaves.

The only thing I can think of is Provado Ultimate Bug Killer, which might work. This stuff, but be careful what you spray it on as it goes into the plant tissues. Fine for ornamentals that you are not going to eat though.

My lavender up my Allotment is looking very sorry for itself. I think some bits are dead. Is there some sort of tonic or feed? I can give them please?

I read somewhere that lavenders don't like feed but see what others say on here.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I don't think there's much wrong with it - just needs some sunshine like we all do.

You could put a thin layer of new compost/soil mix on top of the old stuff, that might help it, when the weather finally warms up.

Maybe cut out a bit of the dead stuff, that would help with fresh compost I think
