Been talking to Munt about this and he thinks it could be genetics.....sounds about right for all 3 of them to go :(

Oh Babe, I am so sorrry, but don't give up, I'm afraid that's life sometimes, some you win and some you lose. A man on River cottage said he bought 24 eggs from Eay, broke 3, 3 didn't do anything, but he's got the other 18 in his garage at 5 weeks and growing eeryday. He was astounded!!
But it must be so disheartening for you! I'm not sure I could do the incubator bit, might try one day with a mother hen, but at the moment, day olds will do for me!!!

youve all made me feel all sloppy again
you lot are lovely xxxx

ahh sorry Babe

I have used the incubator but much prefer the chicks to have a real mummy. I think they do much better. I have started some off before in the incubator (peacocks mind!), and then as soon as they hatch given them to mum with her others and it's been fine! I put 7 eggs under my little silkies this year and everyone hatched and thrived, you really can't beat a real mum!
So sorry about your loss, it's so sad when you waited so long but now...maybe a broody hen is the answer!
