Gladioli
« on: May 30, 2018, 01:23 »
Possibly a silly question!
Can gladioli recover/regrow if the leaves are cut off.
I asked hubby to strim the grass/weeds, and he (unknowingly) has trimmed off the top of the gladioli that were starting to grow.
My fault for not supervising
Anyway can they recover and regrow or is that it for this year.
Fingers crossed and thanks.

If it was just leaf I’d have thought so, if it was the flower stalk I’d say no

Sorry for the delay but thank you snowdrops for your reply. They weren't very big so hopefully at least some will recover and flower.
