How did I miss this thread I'll definitely be trying the washing liquid, with a full rugby kit to wash every day, 6 days a week plus the usual stuff, it should save a fortune

Will borax substitute work for this as it`s all I have been able to find round here.

yes that's all the high street should be selling in the European Union - you can still buy the proper stuff for laboratory use but it is safer to use the substitute  .

yeah its the substitute that ive been using, how's everyone else getting on with their homemade "stuff" ?

I dont like the washing up liquid as there are no bubbles but the washing powder is working brilliantly. I shall make this again especially as I got a little food processor off freecycle which I can just keep for grating the soap and chopping it all finely

i had a great site from america that made a whole load of stuff , i used to make a shake and vac type product , having a rather smelly dog , it worked great .
