Free tree from Velvet Tissue
« on: June 02, 2010, 20:43 »
Hi folks,

I hope I've put this on the correct board, but came across this link and thought it may be useful to  some of you
http://www.velvettissue.com/campaign-for-trees/claim-tree.aspx
Ordered myself a Rowan as I already have Scots Pine & Birch and it should provide the birds with a feast in a few years time.

Thanks for that I have ordered a silver birch - already have several rowans and silver birches but these look great when the moon shines on a group as it really lightens a dark corner  :)

I'm always worried that if I try for more than one they will think I am greedy and not send me any at all  :(

I work on the basis that it's all computerised. My biggest... guilt comes from worrying that I'm taking one off someone else.

But I've applied anyway!

ive requested a silver birch too.  There is no guarantees we will actually get them though, they are subject to availability, and I never seem to have any luck getting freebies  :(
Fingers crossed
