Done the battle of the supermarkets & guess what? I forgot to look for it doh,well I didn't put it on the list,amazing how much I ended up with not on the list & how much I didn't end up with that was on the list-no change there

  That sounds about right, its why I rarely write a list.

Not as odd a question as it may sound, but was it with the cheese, or somewhere else like ready meals or fresh stocks, or yoghurts, or....? 

Regardless of your answer, it doesn't mean they'll have it in my local store or that it will be in the same part of the store where you found it in yours.

I have been going out of my mind trying to work out who had written me a hand written envelope and a voucher for cheese sauce.  I must have read this thread and applied and then forgotten all about it! I have accused assorted relatives of disguising their handwriting.

Told you it wasn't as odd a question as it might sound......  I looked in all those places and a few others and....... 

I should be able to get to a proper sized Tesco in the next few weeks, so hopefully I'll find it there.

Got my sauce tonight in Tesco, had a hard time finding it though

Floor staff couldn't find it, went to customer services, and they took me to it I couldn't see it for looking

Wasn't with the cheese, or the sauces, twas in aisle 23, not sure if that's any good to you.

The only reason the girl in customer services knew where it was, was that she had actually bought some

Thanks. Aisle 23 doesn't mean anything to me, our local store is too small to have that many aisles. Do you know what sorts of other items were in that part of the store?

My local TESCO don't hold it they are suggesting only the very big ones do at the moment so I have a voucher but no where local to redeem it

If that is the case, I'll just have to wait until I am near a big branch. That will happen before the voucher expires.

I finally found some in waitrose, not tried it yet though.

Well I finally got round to opening the pot of sauce - blobbed the whole lot ontop of a lasagna only to lick the spoon and think ugh plastic cheese!

So you're telling me it's just as well I haven't managed to track it down yet - even in a huge T*sco. I have a couple more chances of finding different large stores before the voucher expires.

In our T*sco it's currently at the end of the aisles at half price.
